Wet Slides vs Dry Slides: Which Should You Rent?
Can’t decide between a water slide and a dry slide for your Port Saint Lucie party? Here’s the honest breakdown from the crew that sets up hundreds of both every year.
Wet Slides (Water Slides)
Hook to your garden hose for a slippery, splashy ride. Best for: hot summer days (May–September), pool-party vibes, teens and adults, birthdays where getting soaked is the point. Needs: hose hookup, towels, kids in swimwear.
Dry Slides
Same giant slides, no water. Best for: fall/winter/spring parties, school and church events, concrete setups, younger kids, parties where parents want everyone going home dry. Needs: just power for the blower.
The Verdict
Summer + heat + swimsuits = wet slide. Cooler months, big crowds, or mixed ages = dry slide or combo. Can’t go wrong either way — and most of our combos do both.
